(Picture unavailable)

This high school started July 9, 1923 with three pupils: Maud Hand, Gertrude Cross and Ray Brookins. Melvin Dean attended for a couple of months. Gertrude transferred to Middletown High in the middle of the year. Gerald Baylard started during the next July, but Maud Hand and Ray Brookins left in the spring of 1924.

The Branch High School had only a two year course. The first year was Commercial Arithmetic, English, Civics and General Science. The second year was World History, English, Agriculture, Commercial Geography and Physiography.

In 1926, there were four boys who hoped to enter the next class after they received their 8th grade diplomas.
